As the days stretch and sunlight begins to spill a little longer into our evenings, I’ve found myself reflecting on the quiet months just passed — and the gentle rhythm they brought.
Over the winter, I stepped away from social media and took a much-needed pause from the digital noise. It was a season of rest, stillness, and small joys — early nights, walks without my phone, nourishing reads, and space to simply be. This intentional break was a reminder that wellbeing doesn’t always come from adding more, but often from embracing less.
Now, with spring’s return — the unfurling leaves, birdsong, and soft light filtering through the windows — I feel renewed. There’s something about the way the light returns that lifts the spirit, isn’t there? Science supports it too: natural light helps to boost our mood, energy levels, and even our sleep. But beyond that, it’s a reminder of cycles — of rest and renewal, of stepping back and then forward again with clarity and intention.
And so, I’m stepping back into this space — into the Heron & Haven community — with fresh energy and a full heart.
This season feels extra special because Heron & Haven is now entering its fifth year. That feels surreal to say. What began as a quiet idea has grown into something truly meaningful — a place to celebrate intentional living, soulful skincare, thoughtful design, and the beautiful work of Irish small businesses, artists, and makers. It’s been such a privilege to walk this path alongside you.
Thank you for supporting this small, heartfelt business. For every kind message, every order, every moment you choose to shop slowly and with purpose — it means the world.
Here’s to a season of connection, light, and creativity. I can’t wait to share what’s coming next.
With love,
